Daxko and Camio have joined forces to safeguard fitness clubs by automating unauthorized entry detection to ensure member safety and revenue recovery.
The solution works with the existing Daxko Facility Access systems and security cameras, so fitness clubs can be up and running in an hour.

How it works
Camio uses Artificial Intelligence to detect and count each person that enters the facility. No new cameras, door readers, or wiring are needed. A small Camio Box (about the size of a deck of cards) connects to any open Ethernet port in the back office of the club.
- Daxko Facility Access (powered by Brivo) relays access granted events to Camio (cloud-to-cloud, without any new wiring).
- Camio AI analyzes the video stream of the camera with a view of the door to count the people that entered the facility and compare that count with the number of access granted events.
- Camio sends an alert to authorized personnel each time an unauthorized entry is detected. The email includes a link to the associated video event that can be forwarded to the member involved to either collect a guest fee or welcome a new member.
